Board Filing Begins Tuesday, December 6, 2022
The District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 4, 2023, election. Interested persons may file at the Central Office located at 201 S Madison, Aurora, MO. There are three positions available with three-year terms. Filing will begin on December 6, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the District's regular business hours, which are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. See schedule below for changes in business hours. Filing will end on December 27, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the Central Office is closed due to inclement weather, school breaks or in the event of closure due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The Central Office will be open the following dates and times:
December 6-8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
December 9 from 8:00-11:00 a.m.,
December 12-15 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
December 19-21 and December 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., and
December 27 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Candidates will be listed on the ballot in the order in which they file.
