Aurora R-8 Sees Significant Growth in APR Scores

The Aurora R-8 School District is proud to announce a 10.5% increase in its Annual Performance Report (APR) score from 2024 to 2025 — a reflection of the district’s continued dedication to academic excellence and student success.

The APR is Missouri’s official measure of district success. It evaluates several key indicators, including student achievement, academic growth, continuous improvement, graduation rate, attendance, and college and career readiness.

This progress represents the district’s ongoing efforts to provide high-quality learning experiences and foster environments where every student can achieve success.

Aurora R-8 extends its sincere appreciation to teachers and staff for their hard work, dedication, and tireless efforts in supporting student learning. Their commitment, paired with the district’s strong community partnerships, continues to drive meaningful growth and success for Aurora students.

The district would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to parents and guardians for their continued support — from reinforcing learning at home to volunteering time, attending events, and partnering with teachers to help students thrive.
