For those traveling to Logan-Rogersville on Friday, September 11th to cheer on the Houn Dawg football team, the following guidelines are in place: 1) Masks are required at all times for indoor events and required at outdoor events when spectators are out of their seat entering/exiting/concession/restroom/etc. for all agestwo (2) and older. 2) Physical distancing is required at all times when spectators are not sitting with their family unit (household). 3) Students and young children must remain seated with parents at all times during the entire event. The exception is students seated in the student body section. 4) Logan-Rogersville School District will utilize the facility capacity guidelines set by the Springfield-Greene County Health Department to determine the number of spectators allowed to attend athletic/activity events. Admission will be closed when the administration determines physical distancing is no longer possible due to capacity limitations. 5) Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs/blankets for limited seating on the track.

Information for those attending the high school softball games at Branson on Saturday: Face coverings are required for those in 4th grade and older when social distancing is not possible. Face coverings are highly encouraged for attendants in 3rd grade and younger. Face coverings must be worn while moving about the building or stadium. Gatherings on the field, sidelines, or court will not be permitted at any time, including post-game celebrations. No re-entry will be allowed after leaving the event. No large gatherings will be permitted in the Commons area or concession areas.

Spectator Information for the Carthage Volleyball Jamboree which will be held at Carthage High School on Tuesday, August 25th. All team personnel should arrive wearing face covering. Team benches will be set up to maximize social distancing during matches. No spectator seating will be permitted directly behind team benches. Parents and fans shall wear face coverings upon arrival and any time social distancing is not possible. Parents and fans may enter through the Carthage High School Main Entrance (Door#1) Seating will be located on floor level across from team benches and on the mezzanine level. Aurora High School Open House Information Thursday, August 20th, 2020 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Students attending Aurora High School will be able to pick up their schedules, deposit lunch money, pay the annual $30 technology fee, and pick up their laptops. Students will use the main entrance and complete all tasks in the main lobby. NO building tours will be allowed. Students who desire a locker assignment may do so in the high school office during the first week of school.

Aurora High School students who are taking dual credit classes during the fall semester will need to pick up their laptop at the high school August 10th through August 13th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students picking up their laptops will need to pay their $30 usage fee at the time of pick up. In addition, any student who has not turned in their laptop from summer Launch classes or summer dual credit courses will need to turn their computers in during the same dates/times in order to get laptops updated for the 20-21 school year.

Aurora's Freedom Foundation presented a $500 check to the Youth Empowerment Project at Aurora High School this summer. On hand for the ceremonies were Kim McCully-Mobley, YEP advisor, and Kaden Clark, the great-grandson of Snags Lechner, chairman of the Freedom Foundation in Aurora. Clark graduated in 2019 and is also a YEP member and Top Dawg Student Award winner. YEP works in tandem with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and focuses on a variety of grant writing, scholarship, educational and outreach efforts in the school and community. The group was chartered here in 2012 and also partners with the Aurora Houn' Dawg Alumni & Outreach Center in a variety of service projects and sense of place events.
